Moxley, who trains with the National Sports Center for the Disabled, has gone from simply trying to recover from his combat injury, to competing on the international adaptive ski circuit. The huge crowd at Denver Botanic Gardens the other night wasn’t just there just for the exhibit of Chihuly glass art. A sold-out crowd of 500 had assembled there for Corks and Forks, a food and beverage tasting put on by the Winter Park-based National Sports Center for the Disabled.
