Volunteers must possess advanced skiing skills and be able to commit to 16 days.

Special Events & National Programs
Event Volunteers have a wide variety of job tasks. As an Event Volunteer you may choose one or more area, mix and match duties, in order to obtain your number of volunteer days. Silent Auction Volunteers aid in soliciting and obtaining high-end auction items. They attend the 3 major silent auctions where they will help orchestrate the set up, manning of auction tables and breakdown. Event Administrative Volunteers help with the following pre and post event responsibilities such as: photo copying, stuffing packets, assembling goodie bags, gathering event items, creating simple signage or display boards and helping with other event details. Intermediate computer skills are a must and creative flair is a plus. National Programs Volunteers help set up, operate and break down our AbilityCamps. These free, one day, interactive camps allow kids with disabilities, either physical or developmental, to experience first hand the art of sport. This fun-filled day's include instruction and skill development, use of equipment, games, prizes and lunch.

Administrative Support
Volunteers in the NSCD Denver Office help staff organize events, enter data, assist with mailings, and aid with various projects.

Equipment Room
The NSCD Equipment Room is a high volume rental shop specializing in adapted ski equipment. Volunteers should exhibit a congenial and helpful attitude while distributing and collecting adapted equipment. A typical day in the equipment room begins at 8:30 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m. A one-hour lunch break provides the opportunity to work on personal ski equipment or to experience some fun on the slopes. Equipment volunteers are welcome to attend NSCD ski clinics. Volunteers must commit to 12 days during the season.
