Spend a week in the Colorado Rockies learning, playing and having a positive impact on people with special needs. The NSCD offers week-long volunteer vacation opportunities in which individuals, groups or families volunteer a half a day. The rest of the day is yours to ski or snowboard for free. A minimum of intermediate ski or snowboard skills are required.
The Volunteer Vacation program requires a half-day of training and at least three half days of volunteer service the following week. Duties may include being a lesson assistant, helping with equipment or loading and unloading students on chairlifts.
An NSCD volunteer vacation is a rewarding alternative to a typical ski vacation. You will enjoy a rich experience assisting guests with disabilities while learning about adaptive skiing/riding.
