Black Diamond Level
The NSCD's most popular volunteer program!
Required training: 4-6 clinics for ski instructors, 5 for snowboard instructors, 2 for Nordic instructors, 1 for equipment room/competition center volunteers
Fee: Administrative fee: $25 and Training fee (tax-deductible): $35
Minimum requirements: 10 days for ski/snowboard/Nordic instructors, 12 days for equipment room/administrative volunteers, 16 days for competition center volunteers.

Double Black Diamond Level
Designed for individuals who have volunteered with the NSCD for 15 years or more.
Required training: 1 clinic
Fee: $25 M
Minimum requirements: 5 teaching days

Blue Square Level
Designed for people who do not have time to commit to the full 10 days of instructing. This level is not an option for Sunday Bus Program Volunteers, Thursday Brain Injury Volunteers, Friday Physically Disabled Volunteers, Administrative, Special Event and National Programs, Nordic, Competition Center or Equipment Room Volunteers.
Required training: 4 clinics for ski and snowboard instructors, 1 clinic for returning volunteers
Fee: $25 and Training fee (tax-deductible): $35
Minimum requirement: 5 teaching days

Green Circle Level
Green level volunteers are lesson assistants, assisting with equipment and helping load and unload students on the chairlifts. This level is not an option for Administrative, Nordic, Competition Center or Equipment Room volunteers.
Required training: 1 half-day training session.
Fee: $25
Minimum requirement: 3 half days of volunteering.
Benefits: A lift ticket for the ½ day of volunteering will be valid for the entire day.
Note: Special Event & National Programs Volunteers at the Green Circle level receive access into the special event, staggered breaks to enjoy the event, and limited food and beverage perks.
