Dear Friends of Fat Tire Classic,

2009 Routes
With the logging and the wet weather, we have been on hold to set the routes in stone. There is a small possibility that the routes could slightly change but here are the preliminary descriptions.

On Saturday we will be on the east side of 40. We will have a 21 mile loop, an 11 mile loop and an 8 mile family ride down the Fraser River Trail. The 21 mile loop and the 11 mile loop will access the Idlewild trail system, Corona pass, Broken Thumb, Pond Trail and Cub Creek Trail as Challenge Options. The 21 mile loop will also have the Wall O' Death and Little Cabin Creek as Challenge options.

On Sunday we will be on the west side of 40. We will feature a 17 mile loop and the Family Fun Ride will also be open. The 17 mile loop will access over 25 miles of singletrack and doubletrack challenge options.

Meal Bands
We will have meal bands available for $70. Meal bands will be available at Registration. Meal bands include 6 meals and 3 New Belgium Beers (21 and over).

Along with all new routes, this year you can also look forward to more great entertainment, enhanced rider hospitality, more aid stations, more lodging options and of course...more great beer! Oh, and YES there will be HOT breakfast available in the mornings.

PLEASE NOTE:
In an effort to provide a fantastic experience for all riders, this year’s event will be limited to 800 people.

We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Sincerely,
The Fat Tire Classic planning team
